Lets Talk Texture

Texture trends change over time, and so do personal preferences—but no matter your style, we can match it. From classic to modern finishes, we’re experienced in applying a wide range of textures to blend seamlessly or completely transform your space.

Smooth

As it sounds, this texture is smooth to the touch. Ideally, you shouldn't see or feel any ridges, bumps, divots, or valleys. This texture is one of the most complex to master, but delivers beautiful results when done well!

Orange Peel

Similar to Knockdown, Orange Peel is also created with spraying texture to the space, though this particular texture leaves a slightly more "pitted" look, similar to the peel of an orange!

Skip Trowel

Skip trowel utilizes a trowel to lightly drag a small amount of compound across the space. This texture is one of the most commonly used in SWFL homes.

Stomp

More commonly seen on Old Florida ceilings, this texture is made by "stomping" a brush onto the ceiling to create thick ridges and bumps that often look like a star. Though not often seen, this texture is full of visual interest and character.

Knockdown

Another SWFL favorite, after spraying texture to the space, a trowel is used to "knock down" the tall ridges of texture, leaving behind flat topped plateaus along the space.

Popcorn

Even less popular than stomp, popcorn ceilings are slowly becoming obsolete. However, if you need a patch done to an existing popcorn ceiling, rest assured that we can still match it for you!

Not seeing a match to what you have? We would love to stop by and help you identify it! We are confident we can match it, seamlessly.
